I have a few questions for you.  You don’t have to answer them out loud… but you do have to be honest:

Does your spouse treat you like a child?   Emotional Abuse

Do you feel hopeless, guilty, full of shame, always negative?   Depression

Do you have an uncontrollable drive to be the best at everything you do?   Perfectionism

Do you allow the behaviours of others to affect you? Are you a people rescuer?  Codependency

Are you the one in two women and one in six men who have been sexually abused?

Has holding onto resentment affected you?   Anger

What things have you been doing over and over again expecting a different result each time? Insanity

Do you have an ongoing internal battle with food?   Overeating

Has your drinking, pornography, or gambling caused problems in your family?    Addictions

If you answered yes to any of these questions and you are ready to step out of denial and into God’s grace than Celebrate Recovery is the place for you. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centred, leader producing recovery program based on the actual Work of God that can help you overcome your hurts, habits and hang-ups like many of the issues listed above. You are not alone. Ninety five percent of us have come from some form of dysfunctional family environment which has caused harm to our emotional well-being(soul). Celebrate Recovery is about allowing the Holy Spirit to restore your soul (mind, will and emotions). Healing and growth comes in the context of same sex small groups and one on one discipleship. We hold confidentiality and anonymity in high regard. It’s about forgiveness, repentance, finding your purpose and understanding who you are in Christ. You do not recover from your issues just by attending regular meetings. You must work and live the eight principles found in the Beatitudes (Matthew chapter 5) and the 12 steps along with their biblical comparisons.

Be kind… for everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.

Beloved I pray that you will prosper in all things and be in health just as your soul prospers - 3 John 1:2
